I was in the 13th Engineers in 1975 to 1978. I was in I was in the 13th Engineers in Fort Ord in the years 1975 to 1978. I was there for the reactivation of the 13th and the 7th. I was in A Company, 1st platoon, 1st squad until they moved me to HHC platoon, A company to be the CO's driver. Field duty was great after that, no more sleeping in pup tents, no more C-rations. ARTEP training was fun after that.

This is my first visit to your site. I served in Co. A. 13th Engr. Battalion at Camp Kaiser in South Korea from May 1969 to June 1970. I worked in the motor pool ordering repair parts for weapons, vehicles, and communications equipment. I have heard that since that time this camp was turned over to the South Korean army. I currently live in Rehoboth Beach Delaware.
