Served in B Co as a heavy equipment operator in 62-63. This was my first duty station after AIT. During that time B Co moved north. I do not remember the name of the camp. I did work on the road from which you could see the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea.

I was in the 13th Engineers in Fort Ord in the years 1975 to 1978. I was there for the reactivation of the 13th and the 7th. I was in A Company, 1st platoon, 1st squad until they moved me to HHC platoon, A company to be the CO's driver. Field duty was great after that, no more sleeping in pup tents, no more C-rations. ARTEP training was fun after that.
